Mya Edwards decided to be the coordinator for the Knight Family Reunion for 2025! She is the second daughter of James Edwards III and Mae (Keys) Edwards. She has two sisters, Geneva (Edwards) Porter and JaMay Edwards including a brother (in law), Shay Porter, and two nieces Jaye porter and Ava Porter. Mya's grandparents are Joseph B. Keys and Alfoncya (Knight) Keys. She's a military veteran (served in the Army) and a veteran teacher who has taught a variety of subjects for thirty years in different schools. Mya studied Education and Dance at Wayne State and Capella University. She is currently a Special Education Teacher working on her Doctoral Degree. She is highly involved in her church (Harvest Christian) as a prayer and dance team member.
